Homestay All our affiliated schools and colleges understand the importance of providing safe, comfortable, and affordable home stay alternatives to our international students. Leaving your family and friends to study in a foreign country can be a little stressful. So, having a place you can call "home" can be instrumental in your success as a foreign student. Therefore, we all are committed to ensuring you are suitably matched with an appropriate host family. Homestays provide a stable and comfortable environment for personal growth and skill development through interaction with the host family. Your homestay parents will provide you with: - A clean well-supervised environment
- Three meals daily (breakfast, lunch packed for school days or equivalent, dinner and snacks)
- Clean bed linens and bath towels
- Reasonable use of the common areas within the home
- Rules that are reasonable for your age
- Space and time to study, do your homework and school assignments

Your homestay parents will do as much as possible to include you in family life. We emphasize that this is a "homestay", not a hotel stay, and we encourage students to interact with their homestay families. It is in the homestay environment that many students truly improve their English through the day-to-day interaction with their host families.

Airport Reception Ever wonder when you get into a taxi if you will be delivered to your destination in the most direct and pleasant way possible? Ever find a taxi driver waiting for you at the terminal gate, who knows who you are, where you are going, and who will help you with your bags? Orientation No, Canada is not like any other country you have ever seen or been to. A kin to a United Nation on its own merit, Canada cultural mosaic ensures that the student is never far from cultural diversity. As our seasons are sure to change four times per year, so too are the climate, culture, food and even language from East to West, from community to community. No where in the world can such diversity be found within one country. To ensure that you too can maneuver with ease within your new country, an orientation program will be provided prior to entry to the country, and when you first arrive. Topics will include culture, geography, weather, transportation, banking, your educational institution, course selection, timetable, language and academic assessment, and a warm welcome from your new teachers, family and friends.

High School Report Card Updates Having a son or daughter attending a school so far away makes it difficult for the parents to follow the progress of their loved ones. Correspondence between teacher, student and parent, is seldom, and often not easily communicable because of the barriers created by distance and language. To help improve communications New World Education regularly meets with the students and teachers to monitor the student's progress, and assists the school in communicating with the parents.
